Story

End of February 2021,

I went fishing alone off the coast of Shima, targeting albacore tuna.

Suddenly, I felt a strong pull that was clearly different from that of albacore tuna.

A 50 kg yellowfin tuna floated to the surface.

Naturally, it did not fit in the tamo, and while I was reaching for the gaff, it dove into the water.

After a three-hour struggle, the tuna broke his rod and heart and ran away.

If only I had a harpoon that I could have used to float him to the surface...”

If only I had a rod holder that I could use on the spur of the moment during a long fight, I could have rested my arm...”

With the “regret” of that day burned into his mind, he started his own product development.

In May 2022, SHACHI FISHING GEAR was born.
